When will my items be shipped?

We process orders to ship within 1-3 business days, but there may be delays outside of our control.  We are excited to prepare, package, and ship your items. 

Shipping times are calculated with business days, which are Monday-Friday, not including holidays.  If you haven’t received your item(s) within 4 weeks of ordering, please contact carrie@carriescounter.com

Where are my items shipping from?

All items will be shipped from Ohio.

How will my items be shipped?

Items are shipped out by USPS. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so keep that in mind when entering your shipping information.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time.

How is the shipping cost calculated for my order?

Free shipping is offered on our site. 

What if my package is returned to the seller as undeliverable?

We will contact you via email as soon as the package is received back at our facility, if we don’t receive a response within 14 business days, the package will be discarded and no refund or replacement will be issued.  For situations where an incorrect shipping address was provided, and the package is returned to us for that reason, then you are responsible for any additional shipping charges to have the package reshipped to the correct address.

Can I make a change to, or cancel, my order?

Once an order has been submitted, we can not make any changes. We are not able to change any part of your order. We are not able to cancel an order once it has been placed. Be sure to double and triple-check your items, quantities, and shipping info before hitting submit.

Why isn't my order going through?

First, make sure that all of the items that are in your cart are still available on the site. If an item that is in your cart has already sold out or has been removed from the site, the order will not process. You can hit remove to delete those unavailable items from your cart.

If you are receiving an AVS error when trying to check out, that means that the billing information, or CVV number on the back of your card, that you have entered in during check out does not match the billing address that your bank or cardholder has on file for that card.

Be sure to use an up-to-date browser when looking at the site, like Google Chrome.

What do I do if the item I received is damaged or defective?

Damaged or defective products are eligible for replacement or refund within 14 days of purchase. Do not automatically return the products via mail. If you've received a damaged or defective product please email carrie@carriescounter.com for further steps. In your email, please provide at least 1 photograph of the damage to the item ordered and a description of the damage.

Can I return my order?

You can return any item for a full refund (minus shipping costs) within 30-days from the date of purchase, except for custom orders or items marked as clearance or final sale. Please refer to the Refund Policy for further information.

Reusable Pen Care Instructions

Pen Care:
- Clean only with a damp cloth
- Do not put pen in mouth
- Do not leave inside vehicle
- Do not leave in heat
- If dropped, epoxy may break
- Each item is handmade and may have imperfections

Pen Issues?

Problem: I just got my pen and the ink is not coming out when I write.

Solution: Each ink tip comes with a small plastic tip cover. Remove this tip cover and your ink should start going.

Problem: I ordered ballpoint pens and the pends won't click to write.

Solution: The first few clicks with a new ballpoint pen are tricky sometimes. We do our best to try to fix this prior to sending out the pens. Sometimes they just need a hard push down on the clicker to work.

Problem: My ink is empty. I need to change it.

Solution: Twist the black cap on the bottom off. Remove the current ink cartridge. Keep the spring that is on the ink. Put the spring on the new ink cartridge and place it in the pen. Twist the cap back on.
